North Frontier Railway (NFR) has published an Apprentice notification for the post of Act Apprentices for training under the Apprentices Act 1961. This Railway has several divisions like Katihar (KIR) & TDH workshop, Alipurduar (APDJ), Rangiya (RNY), Lumbing (LMG), S&T/workshop/MLG (PNO) & Track Machine/MLG, Tinsukia (TSK), New Bongaigaon Workshop (NBQS) & EWS/BNGN, Dilbrugarh Workshop (DBWS).
Qualification
The candidates must have passed 10th with 50% marks. And also posses National Trade Certificate (ITI) in the notified trade Copies of mark sheet & pass certificates of matriculation (10th Std.) And ITI Final Mark-Sheet must be uploaded.

Candidates Age
The candidates should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years of age as on 01.01.2020.
Upper Age limit relaxable by 05 years in case SC/ST candidates, 3 years in case of OBC candidates.
Persons with Disability (PWD)- Upper age limit is relaxed by 10 years.
Ex-serviceman- Upper age limit is relaxed up to additional 10 years.
Application Fee
Application fees (Non-refundable) -100\-(Rupees one hundred only)
No fee is required to be paid by SC/ST/Women candidates.
Selection Process
Selection will be on the basis of merit list prepared (trade wise, unit-wise, community-wise.)
The merit list in each unit will be prepared on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in matriculation (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) + ITI marks in the trade in which Apprenticeship is to be done.
Training Duration
The candidates finally engaged will be provided Stipends at the prescribed rate as per the provision.

Important Note
Imparting training in Railways will not confer any right to the candidates for their absorption in Railways after successful completion of training.
Candidates need not sent any application printouts or certificates or copies to RRC by post.
The Railways administration does not under take any responsibility for sending reply to the candidates not selected or not called for.
