Candidates must have passed ITI in the relevant trade against which they are applying.

SAIL IISCO Apprentice Stipend 2026
Selected apprentices will receive a monthly lumpsum stipend of ₹9,600 to ₹10,560 during the apprenticeship training.
Candidates should note that apprentices are expected to make their own arrangements for accommodation and other related requirements.
Apprenticeship Training Duration
The duration of training will be one year from the date of contract creation.
After completion of the apprenticeship training period, the contract will automatically terminate.
Important
This apprenticeship training does not guarantee regular employment in SAIL IISCO Steel Plant. The notification clearly states that completion of apprenticeship training does not create a right to claim regular employment in SAIL-ISP.
SAIL IISCO Apprentice Selection Process 2026
Selection will be made on the basis of:

- Relevant trade
In case two or more candidates have the same aggregate marks, the older candidate will be preferred.
Therefore, candidates with better ITI marks may have an advantage in the merit-based selection process.
Reservation of Seats
