For Sr. No. 1 to 9: The candidates should have passed the respective trade test from ITI on or after
2018 onwards.
For Sr. No. 10: The candidates should have passed the final examination of Graduation Degree
(B.A. / B. Sc. / B. Com.) on regular basis on or after 2018 onwards.
For Sr. No. 11 to 14: The candidates should have passed the final examination of Diploma in Engineering in respective trade (on regular basis) on or after 2018 onwards.
For Sr. No. 15 to 18: The candidates should have passed the final examination of Degree in
Engineering in respective trade (on regular basis) on or after 2018 onwards.
Candidates Age
The application will be considered in respect of those candidates who fulfil the following criteria:
The Application should not have completed 28 years of age as on 30/11/2021.
Application Fee
No Fees.
Selection Process
Eligible candidates will be provisionally selected on merit list.
The merit will be prepared on the basis of "Sum of marks obtained in all semester/year' and 'Sum of total (maximum) marks in all semester/ years'' [as declared by the candidate in submitted application on DPT website- www.deendayalport.gov.in
If CGPA/C.P /Grade /Scale /Point or other nomenclature is mentioned in the curriculum, then the same is to be converted into the percentage Score as per the rules and shall be inserted (out of maximum marks i.e. 100).
Candidates will himself /herself be held responsible with regard to the correctness of marks declared while filling the application from on DPT website- www.deendayalport.gov.in
No correspondence will be entertained / no communication will be made with reference to the incorrect or false details provided by candidates .
The merit list (s) will be uploaded on DPT website - www.deendayalport.gov.in. The provisionally selected candidates will be informed for document verification through registered E-mail ID ,during which the candidates will be required to produce following documents (in original) along with 1set of photocopies:
- Passport size photo
- Aadhar card (with matching name as per ITI /Graduation/Diploma Engineering /Degree Engineering Certificate.
- SSC/ Matriculation marksheet
- School Leaving Certificate
- All ITI /Graduation /Diploma Engineering/Degree Engineering Certificate & Marksheet
- Caste certificate [SC/ST/OBC(NCL)] (if application)
- Certificate of Physically Handicapped (if application)
- Proof for reservation w. r. t. Ex. Serv. ( if application)
- Aadhar linked bank account having in State Bank of India
DPT will not be liable for delay/ loss or non - receipt of E mail due to incorrect/false/ change of registered E mail ID, or any other reason.
Training duration
The period for apprenticeship training for SR. No-10 will be 15 months, while for the rest, the same will be one year.
Stipend/Salary
For Trade Apprentice
Rs. 7700/- per month* (for apprentices who have completed ITI course having duration of 1 year)
Rs. 8,050/- per month* (for apprentices who have completed ITI course having duration of 2 years)
Rs. 9,000/- per month* (for apprentices who have completed Graduation Degree course having duration of 3 years & above)
Rs. 9,000/- per month* (for apprentices who have completed Graduation Degree course having duration of 3 years & above)- for Secretarial Assistant [B.A/B.sc/ B. Com]
For Diploma Apprentice- Rs 8000/- per month
For Degree Apprentice- Rs 9000/- per month

The notification w. r. t. engagement of apprenticeship in Deendayal Port Trust has been hosted on the
www.deendayalport.gov.in.
(A) For Trade apprenticeship (Sr. no. 1 – 10):
Step 1: Interested & eligible candidates are first required to register through
https://apprenticeshipindia.org > ‘Register’ > ‘Candidate’ and get ‘Apprenticeship Registration
no.’ (of 10 digits, starting with ‘A’) and ‘Activate’ their Login account. The application will not be
entertained without complete updation of respective profile which requires following details to
be submitted mandatorily (online) after Login:
a. Contact details
b. Education details (with attachment of scanned copy of Certificate)
c. Trade preference
d. Aadhar Verification.
Step 2: Click on ‘Apply Now’ – link available in ‘Recruitment’ section of DPT website –
https://www.deendayalport.gov.in/Career.aspx and ‘Sign Up’ after filling the necessary details
(for first time user).

(B) For Diploma & Degree Engineering apprenticeship (Sr. no. 11 – 18):
Step 1: Interested & eligible candidates of Diploma & Degree Engineering disciplines are first required
to register on http://mhrdnats.gov.in > ‘Enroll’ & get ‘Enrollment number’ (of 16 digits) by
submitting necessary details (online).
Step 2: Click on ‘Apply Now’ – link available in ‘Recruitment’ section of DPT website –
https://www.deendayalport.gov.in/Career.aspx and ‘Sign Up’ after filling the necessary details
(for first time user).

Candidates are requested to complete the application procedure well in advance to avoid the ending days’
rush on website.
Important Notes
1. Candidates with qualification acquired through Distance Learning mode / Part time mode /
Correspondence mode shall not be considered.
2. Any canvassing directly / indirectly by the applicant may disqualify his / her candidature.
3. The candidature of applicant would be provisional and subject to subsequent verification of
certificates / testimonials. In case it is detected at any stage of engagement or thereafter, that a
candidate does not fulfill the eligibility norms and / or that he / she has furnished any incorrect /
doctored / false, information / certificate / documents or has suppressed any material fact (s), his
/ her candidature will stand cancelled. If any of these shortcomings is / are detected even after
engagement, his / her engagement is liable to be terminated.The stipends rates may vary from time to time subject to any amendments prescribed by Deendayal Port Trust or respective Boards for Apprenticeship training or as per Ministry's directive. In any case, DPT's directions / orders will be treated final.
4. DPT shall have no obligation to offer employment to Apprentices during and / or after
the completion of the apprenticeship period nor can the apprentice claim right for
employment on the grounds of completion of apprenticeship.
