About Organizations
It has been operational from 1st April 2003 having the headquarters at hubli in the state of Karnataka. The railway comprises of 03 divisions, viz, hubli, Bangalore & Mysore and primary caters to Karnataka state with 84% of its jurisdiction located there. The balance 16% of its route length falls in Andhra Pradesh ,Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra and Goa.
SWR is invited form interested candidates for engagement of Act Apprentice for imparting training under the Apprentice Act' 1961 against 904 slots notified for training in the designated trades at Divisions/Workshops/Units of South Western Railway.
Qualification
Matriculate or 10th class in 10+2 examination system from recognized Board with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
The Applicants should have already passed the prescribed Qualification as National Trade Certificate/ITI Certificate affiliated to NCVT/SCVT is compulsory in relevant trade as under-
- Fitter- 390 posts
- Machinist- 13 posts
- Electrician- 248 posts
- Carpenter- 11 posts
- Turner- 13 posts
- Stenography-2 posts
- Refrigeration and air conditioner mechanic-16 posts
- Painter- 18 posts
- Welder- 55 posts

*Note- The applicants can not apply-
- Who have undertaken any previous Apprenticeship Training as a part of the Apprentice program,
- Who are undergoing presently Apprenticeship Training at any organization,
- Who are undergoing any Regular Course of study as regular candidate from any educational Institute.

Candidate Age
The applicants should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years of age as on 04/10/2021.
Age Relaxation
- 03 years in case of OBC
- 05 years in case of SC, ST candidates.
- Age relaxation for PWD candidates is 10 years.

Selection Process
- Selection of the eligible applicants for imparting training under the apprentice act, 1961 will be base on The merit list of on the basis of Average of Class- 10th Marks and ITI Marks provided in the Apprentice portal.
- Final merit list will be prepared Trade-wise, Establishment wise and Community-wise.
- Only Online application engaged, No Offline application valid.
Training Duration
For all trades the training period will be 01 year.
Stipend / Salary
The selected candidates will be paid stipend during apprenticeship at the prescribed rates as per extant
rules,directives issued by railway board from time to time.

1. Candidate are required to apply "ONLINE" by visiting www.rrchubli.in and the detailed instructions for filling up "ONLINE" applications will be available on the website.
2. Candidates are required to log on to the RRC/Hubli website www.rrchubli.in provided for filling "ONLINE" applications and fill up the personal details/BIO-DATA etc. carefully.
NOTE - 1 Candidates should ensure their name ,father's name, date of birth exactly match as recorded
in matriculation or equivalent certificate. any deviation found during the document verification will lead cancellation of candidature.
NOTE -11 Candidates are advised to indicate their active mobile number, Aadhar Number ( for authentication purpose) ,details of self bank account which is linked to Aadhar account and valid e-mail ID in the "ONLINE'' application and keep them active during the entire engagement process as all
important messages will be sent through e-mail/SMS which will be treated as deemed to have been read by the candidates.

4. click on the "ONLINE ACT APPRENTICE APPLICATION" link.
5. Candidates will be directed to instructions page. on viewing all the instructions candidates can download detailed notification and click for registration.
