SOUTH CENTRAL RAILWAY (SCR)- SECUNDERABAD

About Organization

SCR(caps) SOUTH CENTRAL RAILWAY was formed on 02.10.1966 when Hubli and Vijayawada Divisions of southern railway and Sholapur and Secunderabad divisions of central railway were carved out and merged into a new zone. Subsequently, Guntakal division of southern railway was merged with central railway on 02.10.1977 and Sholapur division was remerged with central railway. Secunderabad division are  split into two divisions viz. Secunderabad and Hyderabad on 17.02.1978.following re-Organization of zones and divisions with effect from 01.04.2003.two new divisions viz, Guntur and Nanded were Operationalized  duty transferring Hubli division to newly formed south western railway. 

SCR is invited for Act Apprentice under Apprentice Act' 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules' 1962, from candidates fulfilling the condition mentioned in this notification for the year 2021-2022, as under. 

Qualification

Matriculate or 10th class in 10+2 examination system from recognized Board with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.

The Applicants should have already passed the prescribed Qualification as National Trade Certificate/ITI Certificate affiliated to NCVT/SCVT is compulsory in relevant trade as under-

• Fitter- 1460 posts
• Machinist- 71 posts
• Electrician- 1019 posts
• Carpenter- 18 posts
• Electronic Mechanic- 92 posts
• Mechanic Diesel- 531 posts
• Mmtm- 5 posts (Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance)
• MMW- 24 posts (Millwright Maintenance)
• Painter- 80 posts
• Welder- 553 posts
• RAC Mechanic- 250 posts

 *Note- The applicants can not apply-

• Who have undertaken any previous Apprenticeship Training as a part of the Apprentice program,
• Who are undergoing presently Apprenticeship Training at any organization,
• Who are undergoing any Regular Course of study as regular candidate from any educational Institute.

Candidate Age

The applicants should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years of age as on 04/10/2021.

Age Relaxation-

• 03 years in case of OBC
• 05 years in case of SC, ST candidates.
• Age relaxation for PWD candidates is 10 years. 

Application Fees

Application Fees (Non-refundable)- 

For GEN/OBC- 100/-

For SC/ST/Female/PwBD- No Fees

Selection Process

• Selection of the eligible applicants for imparting training under the apprentice act, 1961 will be base on The merit list of on the basis of Average of Class- 10th Marks and ITI  Marks provided in the Apprentice portal.
• Final merit list will be prepared Trade-wise, Establishment wise and Community-wise.
• Only Online application engaged, No Offline application valid.

Training Duration

Training will be arranged in accordance with the standards and syllabus prescribed by the central apprentice council.

Stipend / Salary

The selected candidates will be paid stipend during apprenticeship at the prescribed rates as per extant instructions.

1. Submission of  ONLINE APPLICATION is of four stages; Registration, personal details/Education qualification details/upload photo/signature, selection of options and payment of processing fee.

             

2. Visit the website of RRC/SCR i.e. webpage of south central railway website  www.scr.indianrailways.gov.in

3. click on the "ONLINE ACT APPRENTICE APPLICATION" link. 

4. Candidates will be directed to instructions page. on viewing all the instructions candidates can download detailed notification and click for registration.

• Opening date of Online Web application- 04/10/2021 at 17:00 HRS
• Closing date for Online Submitting Application- 03/11/2021 at 23:59 HRS
