About Organization
WCL(caps) Western Coalfields Limited, is one of the eight Subsidiary Companies of Coal India Limited (CIL) which is under Ministry of Coal. WCL has "Mini Ratna" status on 15th March 2007. Its mining work managed in Maharashtra State (Nagpur, Chandrapur and Yeotmal) and Madhya Pradesh (Betul and Chhindawara). A huge numbers of Power Houses in different states like Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh.
Western Coalfields Limited invites for Apprenticeship Training jobs for eligible candidates under Apprentices Act 1961 for ITI Trainees in various trades from Applicants across the Nation.
Qualification
Matriculate or 10th class in 10+2 examination system from recognized Board.
The Applicants should have already passed the prescribed Qualification as National Trade Certificate/ITI Certificate affiliated to NCVT is compulsory in relevant trade as under-
- Fitter- 242 posts
- Machinist- 12 posts
- Computer Operator and Programming Assistant COPA- 219 posts
- Electrician- 250 posts
- Turner- 17 posts
- Draughtsman Civil- 28 posts
- Mechanic Diesel- 36 posts
- Mason (Building Constructor)- 09 posts
- Pump Operator cum Mechanic- 16 posts
- Surveyor- 20 posts
- Welder (Gas & Electric)- 76 posts
- Wireman- 40 posts

*Note- The applicants can not apply-
- Who have undertaken any previous Apprenticeship Training as a part of the Apprentice program,
- Who are undergoing presently Apprenticeship Training at any organization,
- Who are undergoing any Regular Course of study as regular candidate from any educational Institute.
Candidate Age
The applicants should have completed 18 years of age and should not have completed 25 years of age as on 21/09/2021.
Age Relaxation-
- 03 years in case of OBC
- 05 years in case of SC, ST candidates.
- Age relaxation for PWD candidates is 10 years.
Application Fees
Application Fees (Non-refundable)- NO FEES.
Selection Process
- Selection of the eligible applicants for imparting training under the apprentice act, 1961 will be base on The merit list of relevant ITI Trade Marks.
- Final merit list will be prepared Trade-wise, Establishment wise and Community-wise.
- Only Online application engaged, No Offline application valid.
- Candidates who are domicile of the district, where established is situated, shall be given first preference in each establishment during selection.
Training Duration
The period of training will be 12 Months commencing from the date of contract of Apprenticeship.
Stipend / Salary
STIPEND:
The Apprentice will be paid monthly consolidated stipend amount as per the gazette notification of Govt. of India under the Apprenticeship Act 1992-
Two year’s Trade- Rs. 8050/- per month
Note- No other benefit/Allowances
will be provided.

Ballarpur, Chandrapur, Wani North, Wani, Majri, Umrer (Chandrapur Maharshtra),
Nagpur (Nagpur, Maharashtra),
Pench, Kanhan (Chhindwara MP),
Pathakhera (Betul, MP).

Applicants are required to fill up the personal details along with documents very carefully. In case of any discrepancy observed at the time of Document Verification, the Applicant will be disqualified summarily.

- Opening date of Online Web application- 06/09/2021 (10:00 AM)
- Closing date for Online Submitting Application- 21/09/2021 (05:00 PM)

Important Note
- Application can be submitted only once for one Applicant. Hence form will be filled correctly as no corrections will be possible subsequently. So you should ensure once again that the information is correct before submitting.
- The apprentices will have no claim whatsoever for employment in Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) or any other units of Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) after completion of the training period.
- No daily allowance / conveyance allowance or travelling allowance will be paid to the Applicants called for Document Verification.
- Candidature of the Applicants shall be cancelled if he/she fails to produce the required original testimonials for verification or any other discrepancy noticed.
