About Organization
NCR(caps) North Central Railway, in its present form, came into April, 1st 2003. NCR covers large part of North Central India, covers state Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Haryana. This has total 3062 km long rail route predominantly double line electrified section.
North Central Railway, One of the 18 Railway zones in India. It's largest railway station is Kanpur Central and it's headquarter in Prayageaj. NCR zone comprises three divisions-
1) Prayagraj Railway Division,
2) Jhansi Railway Division,
3) Agra Railway Division.

Railway Recruitment Cell RRC of North Central Railway NCR invites 1664 Apprentice Posts for ITI Trainees and Zonal Notification No. RRC/NCR/01/2021 Dated 27/07/2021.
This is Centralized notification for engagement of Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961 being conducted by Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), North Central Railway (NCR) Prayagraj has been nominated as nodal agency for obtaining ONLINE applications from Applicants across the Nation.
Qualification
The Applicants should have already passed the prescribed Qualification on the date of issue of this Notification i.e. 27/07/2021 as under-
(i) Educational Qualifications
- Matriculate or 10th class in 10+2 examination system with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from recognize Board.
- However, for Trade Welder (Gas & Electric), Wireman and Carpenter the minimum educational qualification is 8th class pass from recognized school and the National Trade Certificate/ITI Certificate in the notified trade issue by NCVT/SCVT.

(ii) Technical Qualification
National Trade Certificate/ITI Certificate affiliated to NCVT/SCVT is compulsory in relevant trade as under-
- Fitter
- Welder (Gas & Electric)
- Armature Winder
- Machinist
- Carpenter
- Electrician
- Painter General
- Mechanic DSL
- Information Technology & Electronic System Maintenance
- Wireman
- Plumber
- Mechanic cum Operator Electronics Communication System
- Health Sanitary Inspector
- Multimedia and Web Page Designer
- Mechanic Machine Tools Maintenance
- Crane Operator
- Draughtsman Civil
- Stenography English
- Stenography Hindi
- SSC/ITI result are awaited as on 27/07/2021
- ITI failed applicants
- Engineering Graduates and Diploma holders.
Candidate Age
The applicants should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years of age as on 01/09/2021.
Age Relaxation-
- 03 years in case of OBC
- 05 years in case of SC, ST candidates.
- Age relaxation for PWD candidates is 10 years.
Application Fees
Application Fees (Non-refundable)- INR 100/-.
Fee exempted for SC/ST/PWD/Women.
Selection Process
- Selection of the eligible applicants for imparting training under the apprentice act, 1961 will be base on The merit list which would be prepared taking the Average of the Percentage of marks obtained by Applicants in both Matriculation and ITI examination giving equal weightage to both (means 50% 10th or 8th + 50% ITI).
- There will be no Test or Viva.
- Final merit list will be prepared Unit-wise, Trade-wise and Community-wise.
- No offline and post/registry application engaged, only Online application valid.
Training Duration
The period of training will be one year and apprentices engaged will be registered under Apprentice Act, 1961.
Stipend / Salary
STIPEND:
Selected Applicants will be paid a Stipend during the training at the prescribed rate as per extant rules governed by the concerned State Governments.Work Place
Prayagraj, Agra and Jhansi & Jhansi Workshop (Uttar Pradesh).

Applicants are required to fill up the personal details and Uploading documents very carefully. In case of any discrepancy observed at the time of Document Verification, the Applicant will be disqualified summarily.
Applicants possessing ITI Qualification in more than one trade can apply different relevant trades separately.

Closing date for Online Registration : 01/09/2021(23:59 hours)
(Entries beyond this date and time will not be considered under any circumstances)
Important Note
- Application can be submitted only once. Hence clicking the ‘SUBMIT’ button is a critical step, as no corrections will be possible subsequently. So you should ensure once again that the information is correct before submitting.
- The apprentices will have no claim whatsoever for employment in Indian Railway or any other units of Indian Railway/North Central Railway after completion of the training period.
- No daily allowance / conveyance allowance or travelling allowance will be paid to the Applicants called for Document Verification.
- Candidature of the Applicants shall be cancelled if he/she fails to produce the required original testimonials for verification or any other discrepancy noticed.
