 Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Eastern Railway has opened online applications for 3,115 Act Apprentice positions across various divisions and workshops for the training session 2025–26.

Eligibility:

• Qualification Required:

  • Class 10th (10+2 system) with minimum 50% marks, along with a NCVT/SCVT ITI certificate in the relevant trade.

• Age Limit (as on closing date):

• Minimum: 15 years

• Maximum: 24 years

• Relaxations: SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), PwBD (10 years), Ex-Servicemen (as per norms).

Reservation & Flexibility:

• Slots are provisionally allocated and may increase, decrease, or be canceled depending on administrative needs.

• Reservation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/Ex-Servicemen/PwBD.

• Final training slot allocation is merit-based, with unit and trade preferences taken into account.

Selection Process:

1. Merit List based on average of Class 10 and ITI marks.

2. Shortlisted in 1:1 ratio for document verification.

3. Additional candidates (1.5 times) may be called to fill vacancies due to no-shows or cancellations.

4. Document verification based on preferences and final merit ranking.
