✅ Eligibility

• Nationality: Indian citizens only.

Educational Qualification:

• Graduate Apprentice: BE/B.Tech in Electrical (EEE)/Civil/Mechanical from a recognized University/Institute.
• Technician Apprentice: Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil.
• Trade Apprentice: ITI in relevant trade (NCVT/SCVT). Lab Assistant (CP): B.Sc. (Chemistry). PASAA: COPA/Computer trade.
• Mode of study: Regular only (Distance/Part-time/Correspondence not accepted).
• Apprenticeship status: Must not have undergone/are undergoing apprenticeship in any organization; apply for only one trade/discipline.

Age Limit

• Trade Apprentices: 18–24 years as on 02.09.2025.
• Graduate/Technician: 18–25 years (as on last date of application).
• Relaxation: SC/ST 5 yrs, OBC-NCL 3 yrs, PwD 10 yrs (as applicable).

🧾 Selection Process

• Merit-based shortlisting on marks in the specified qualifying exam.

Priority Order (as per unit policy):

Land Affected Category (documentary proof required); within this:

• Wards of employees

• Wards of deceased employees
• Permanent residents of Chinnavalai, Periavilai, Puthoor, Kottilpadu (within 10 km)

Permanent residents of Midalam, Keezhmidalam, Kurumpanai (over other villages in Kanyakumari District)

• Belonging to Tamil Nadu State, then Others

• Document Verification → Medical Fitness → Police Verification (mandatory before entry).

• No claim for regular employment after apprenticeship.

Step 1 – Register on Portals

• Trade Apprentices: Register on Apprenticeship India portal and apply against Establishment Code: E05203301006.
• Graduate/Technician Apprentices: Register on NATS portal and apply against Establishment Code: STNKKC000004.

Step 2 – Submit Hardcopy Application (Mandatory)

• Fill the proforma (Annexure-A) as per notification (type on A4 preferred).
• Superscribe the envelope:
